Former United States Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA) dies from Parkinson's at the age of 76

Sad news from over the weekend, former United States Senator Johnny Isakson (R-GA) passed away from Parkinson's disease at the age of 76.

Isakson resigned in the middle of his 3rd term in the United States Senate on December 31st, 2019 due to serious health problems. He also served in the GA Air National Guard from 1966 to 1972.

In his final reelection campaign back in 2016, Isakson won somewhere between 18-21% of African Americans & 39% of Latinos.
