Why is the story behind that meme anyway? I’ve seen it around a few times.

(I get that the meme itself is poking fun of how various minorities get banal sounding labels in the press to try to hide that some of them committed crimes)

why would he be ashamed? Girl is decently attractive enough and if she has basic social skills should be palitable enough for them. Plus he moved all the way to the frozen lands if he actually gave a shit about his family he would have remained home.

Some further elaboration in that murdered girl in France:

The mother explained that her daughter refused to wear the islamic veil, was wearing a little makeup, and once dyed her hair.

This resulted in insults, threats, blows, and spits, as well as online harassment for months.

Among the insults, "kâfir" (and its plural form "kouffar") were used, which is a term in arabic for people who do not believe in islam, or muslims who committed apostasy and "betrayed" their religion.

Along with posting a picture of her with a call to rape her, that only got a 2 days suspension for the culprits, they also impersonated her online to rile up an online hate mob to get her killed, reusing the same process used in the beheading of Samuel Paty: starting an online rumor of apostasy, calling for "true believers" to kill the "kâfir", then enjoying the resulting terror.

Such process is now well known among teenagers and has been used multiple times to target professors.

What's new here is that it's the first known instance of that assassination process being used against another teenager.

Witnesses indicate that a mob of around 15 to 20 teenagers, most from another highschool, were waiting for her at the gate.

One of the teacher heard about the mob and called the mum, who then begged the administrators to keep her daughter inside until she could pick her up. The school staff didn't do anything and let the daughter walk out without warning her, and she got jumped by the lynching mob.

One of the witnesses says they saw several guys kicking her bloodied head, as she was laying unconscious on the pavement. This would explain why she ended up in a coma with a TBI.

Right now, the mother and her daughter are being constantly harassed and threatened online, so she came on a tv talk show to beg for forgiveness, blame it on the far-right and say her daughter is very pious, praying 5 times a day and strictly following the ramadan, so please leave them alone.

This is not happening in Iran, or Afghanistan, but simply in France.

That I agree on. What I don’t agree on is that he’ll take action to stop the atrocity that is occurring in France, as it is in much of Europe. Or that if he does take action it will be enough.

1) I don’t know much about French politics, but I imagine they have the same problems most of the west does with their right-wing politicians promising to fix thing but then doing nothing. Or actively making things worse.

2) you assume that matters when the country is flooded over with foreigners, mostly Islamic ones too, who won’t vote against their own self interests. Plus you also have lefties and so on who also won’t let the political right win.

He often times has no choice if the parliament decides something.
With this being his last term he is trying to do what he can to get his party to win next election I would think

But we have some French people on here who could probably tell us better

The other problem for France is their pension system has been royally screwed by entities like Blackrock. Massive protests last year actually saw the Blackrock corporate offices stormed by a mob and set fire to.

Course, that's a bit more than their average 'Tuesday' protest in France.
