Five minutes of hate news

Not really that upset about this one given the sort of person he was and how much his ideology wasn’t the ‘I have a dream’ side of things. Or so I have heard.

While on one hand we mythologize people, there are Great Men in history regardless if you subscribe to the historical notion or not.

The main issue is, like all people in the world, great or not, he wasn't perfect. Maybe he was far from it in your or other POVs but the point is these vandals didn't know or care about any nuance or context your alluding to.

The saw the statue of man who was known as a great Civil Rights Leader who died for his beliefs and were like, "Imma gonna steal them plaques honoring Black veterans and bits of the MLK statue for delicious meth money!" or something.

Unless of course it was some alt right Groypers or Black Hammer types that did this for spite and profit. In which case I have even less sympathy and more contempt for them. :)

Another name dropped. "Unhinged Creeps".

The euphemisms are endless.

Commie infested Canadia is using vending machines to spy on people. This came out to light due to a vending machine inthe university of waterloo displaying a windows application error popup that "FacialRecognition.App.exe" had an error
"OH HEAVENS THE VENDING MACHINES ARE SPYING ON US!"
>Looks at phone, swipes past 13 apps which all have analytics, facial recognition and recording everything 24/7
>Goes home to their alexa/google-home spybot
>Watches shows on that 'smart' TV which phones home every 10 minutes

"Heh, good thing those vending machines are gone!"

Most people don't care they are being spied on; and, if they think about it at all, to them if anything it's safety.

Really these people are addicts to smart technology and algorithms. addicts in general really

The best thing you can do is cover the cameras on your phone or laptop, they're proven to be accessed without your permission.

Phones absolutely have backdoors to all sorts of nasty people.

Your naivete when it comes to computers is hilarious.

If it's connected to the internet the IP address can be used to figure out about where that computer is or was.
I know what is capable.
Phones armt as easy, but still easy.
Mist new phones have things built in to let you know if it is on or not for a reason.
Can it be bypassed? Maybe idk

The issue isn't the phone or the computer. It's what the phone or computer is connected to.

That is never 100% secure. You say you're US Army Intelligence. You should know this.

A lot of people know their phone is spying on them and also can leave it at home.
It is a bit of a surprise for most people to find the sheer level of dystopian surveillance state they are living in.
That there are ubiquitous hidden cameras with facial recognition apps.

I know.
The system itself can make it harder for the cyber side.
Same with code as well.
Nothing is 100 percent

Sweetie, you are a complete fool. When I'm buying gas Google location services is sending my phone ads for the gas station across the street.

That's where I buy coffee in the morning because the gas station I use to fill the tank doesn't sell decaf.
Yes....because you consent to it in various ways.....
