@mrttao I like some of your views and some times agree with a few of them, but I would rather you give some proof as you tend to do most of the time beyond what you just affirmed.

Otherwise I remember you and other people as liking orange juice but many probably don't.

I've never read it and agree with your view here regarding the author, but as far as I've been told there aren't actual pedo sex scenes in the book just some alluding to it, ludeness and double entendres.

I mean... I literally said "press f to doubt" and "as far as I recall from reading it decades ago as a child".
I am not even remotely certain here.

But... I really very much would rather not be rereading lolita now as a grown ass man just to "research" to see if it really is or is not meant to titilate pedos. Just so I can win an internet argument.

I would suspect there were other reasons. But I meant an American drawing an anthro-vixen in a kimono, or a wolf as a samurai. Lord forbid he was rescuing the vixen from a monster.

From the greater context of the conversation, the cuties should've been properly Cuties, a movie made and directed by some Muslim woman in France.

It's very 'let's lust after 9-11 year olds' movie. Like it's even a plot point, but the way they go about saying 'exploitation of young girls is bad' is incredibly exploitative and borderline pornographic at times.

It received awards from a known pro-pedo critic (acting as a judge at some film festival) and eventually landed on Netflix, there was something of a controversy.

Because it's pedo-bait.

The worst part about Cuties is how the media unanimously all agreed to defend the film outside of the most 'right wing' sources.
Like seriously, how inorganic is that? The populace was disgusted yet the populace (in media jobs!) were A-okay?
Seems to indicate the media are all just pedos, and we should be rid of them.
