Make more sense if they were demanding that she tell them their names, seeing as she never gave them one. Then again, they never developed to the point where they had mouths, so I'm not sure how they're communicating in the first place. Ghost telepathy? Also, how are they even cognizant enough to communicate? It just doesn't make sense if you think about it for more than a few moments, unless they continued to develop into fully cognizant beings in the after life, in which case what point is there to life?
