- Arunachal Pradesh/South Tibet
- Tirpani, Bara Hotti, and Samdu Valleys
- Demjok/Demchok
- Shaksam Valley
- Aksai Chin
- Spratly Islands/Paracel Islands/Scarborough Shoal/Maccelsfield Bank (South China Sea)
- Bhutan (North and West)
- Senkaku Islands
- Okinotori Islands/Reef

Okay, so by the numbers, it looks like China is involved in more territorial disputes than Japan is (even with me condensing the South China sea disputes into one.) How are you judging that Japan is ahead of China in terms of Territorial disputes?
It's the PRC trying to solidify their control of that sea - I'm not 100% on what the impact of those islands will be, but politically, that's what it is.

All I recall was that there was oil there and it was first discovered by a filipino fisherman who took years to finally get his discovery acknowledged
There were remains of Filipino or Pre-Spanish Filipinos there, but China lays claim over it and this dispute was still going on for years
Honestly, the Chinese probably could "just take it" and I don't think they'd have much fuss against them let alone actual resistance
