Yes,becouse german army was not ready for war at all.Their armored dyvisions not fight anybody,but still was stopped by technical problems.And they had ammo and fuel only for few weeks.

It was a combination of not wanting to fight and believing they did not have a skin in the game. They were more concerned with the Italians taking up the colonial territories that were promised to them after the First world war.

As I said, their doctrine was terrible.

Thier doctrine favored infantry support over anti tank.
Thiugh the B1 was the best tank at the time.
Then you have that the French were building thier own version of a Tiger basically, the ARL which would have been a game changer should they have had it produced in time. They made it after the war with a 90mm or was it a 100mm.

That isn't as bad as a concept. The Japanese had that, the italians, even some German ones did. Hell US and UK had some as well.

Having a dude spot, aim, and load plus rotate the turret is a bit much to easily pull. There's a reason why no modern tank has a one man turret
