"One rule for thee, one rule for me."
bro its a miracle he's getting charged with anything in this current set up.
Real conquences come much later unfortunately but for right now this is the closest thing were getting to a win.
"One rule for thee, one rule for me."
I mean I wouldn't say it was Turkey then the people were Greek and it was the Eastern Roman Empire.Turkey was Christian almost what...1000 years ago
So this is allegedly happening in Turkey and in its most progressive city :
well, it sure looks like Turkey is certàinly no longer Jewish friendly.
I mean, when did Constantanople fall and the Ottomans take over? 1300?I mean I wouldn't say it was Turkey then the people were Greek and it was the Eastern Roman Empire.
1453 AD, actually.I mean, when did Constantanople fall and the Ottomans take over? 1300?
S0 I was off by about a hundred1453 AD, actually.

If the Turks were smart, they'd attach a generator to Attaturk's grave and harvest the limitless energy of his spinning.Good morning i guess, welcome in 2023...
No @Marduk I visited in December 2022 and January of 2023. It was very much Jewish and Israeli friendly until the events of this month.Umm, have you slept through Erdogan getting power, the flotilla affair and so on? Good morning i guess, welcome in 2023...
Half of Turkey is spinning right now. Probably because the Turkish Army is only numerically superior to Israel. While I don't take lots of his stuff as golden truth (just like any other commentator)Peter Zeihan did speculate that Turkey might cross into Syria to help Hamas(how Peter Zeihan didn't explicate) and with Erdogan comments on Hamas I see that pig that pretends to be a pan-islamic sultan might dumb enough to think about trying said option. If the Turks were smart, they'd attach a generator to Attaturk's grave and harvest the limitless energy of his spinning.
@DarthOne it was for a long time actually. I recall an historical it was so much so Jewish friendly that those of the Jewish faith were writing propaganda for the German Empire and the Ottoman Empire, the latter which included, if I am not mistaken, trying to cover up what was happening to the Armenians in 1915 by the loosing Ottoman forces.I’m surprised Turkey ever was Jewish friendly at all.
Depends which part of Turkey, i'd guess the sympathy for Palestinian cause tracks with regions that also support for Erdogan and Islamic governance. No @Marduk I visited in December 2022 and January of 2023. It was very much Jewish and Israeli friendly until the events of this month.
The number of Israeli tourists was surpassed only by Brazilians,Italians and Balkan tourists.
Let's not forget that Turkey did cross into Syria already a lot of times, not nearly deep enough for that, and all the local Hamas simps, starting with Hezbollah and ending with Assad, were rather unhappy with that. Looking at the map, Turkey completely conquering all of Syria just to have a war with Israel with logistical lines going through the wreckage and USA yelling at them to stop being insane would be hilariously unlikely.Half of Turkey is spinning right now. It is not clear cut as region by region. You get a mish mash of both anti e pro Erdogan people in all regions.Depends which part of Turkey, i'd guess the sympathy for Palestinian cause tracks with regions that also support for Erdogan and Islamic governance.
I should have added deeper cross into Syria.Let's not forget that Turkey did cross into Syria already a lot of times, not nearly deep enough for that, and all the local Hamas simps, starting with Hezbollah and ending with Assad, were rather unhappy with that. Of course there's at least a tiny bit of support for any party everywhere, that's normal. It is not clear cut as region by region. You get a mish mash of both anti e pro Erdogan people in all regions.
In Eskisehir, a very liberal university city, you could see banners of MHP, a party that borders on a Turkic version of monarchist National Socialism, hanging in the streets, even bigger than Ataturk's banners.
We're not talking "deeper", we are talking taking a straight line through the whole country and taking Damascus on the way if they want to get to Israel's border.I should have added deeper cross into Syria.
Map says that it would have to be indistinguishable from conquest of Syria, there's just no other way for Turks to get there, especially if you consider how vital roads go through Syria. Turkish proxies can't do that, period. There's the theoretical option of going around Assad's heartland routing through open fucking desert, but Turks are not retarded enough to do that, and the logistics of it would doom the fight against Israel before it starts. It would be a full scale war in its own right for Turkey. One Turkey would probably win, but not cheaply. As I said, having been living there, I think Erdogan is enough dumb to consider trying it.
Wherever he would do it is up to speculation and I don't think it would resemble as a conquest of Syria, Zeihan did say it would be more like the Turkish forces making a straight line towards wherever they want.
I think though it is more likely that Turkish proxies will do that if they feel courageous.
that isn't what all the idiots in media and congress say.I mean...yeah.
We didn't Invade Iraq or Syria based on that AUMF...
