Excellence in Shitlording

The silliness of people getting hyper worked-up over the 'Let's Go Brandon' silliness continues.

The story: Fenix Ammunition, an ammunition company*, sold fired .50 BMG cases with 'Let's Go Brandon' printed on the side as a novelty item. Daily Kos reporter, in the spirit of intrepid war-correspondents, emailed the CEO about the scandalous affair.

The shitlording:
I asked Nazaroff via email if he was worried about whether the “bullets” might provoke someone to create something similar, but with an actual bullet. He responded, “I'm about as worried as you were when Kathy Griffin posed with a mockup of Donald Trump's severed head.” Huh?

He then added that if I was going to run stories about firearms or ammunition-related topics, I should do myself a favor and understand the basic terminology. “A cartridge case is an inert brass object that poses no danger to anyone. I might as well have printed it on a soda can,” he wrote.

When I asked him if he felt like selling this product was irresponsible, to say the least, or dangerous at the most, he told me that the product is “only dangerous in the minds of woke, coddled Karens who have no sense of humor. The type of people who work for a secondhand rag like the Daily Kos.” Adding: “The real danger in our society is that we've allowed woefully ignorant journalists to appoint themselves as the arbiters of truth and comedy in American culture.”

On one hand: it's about as silly as a pair of novelty panties requiring a "userame and password" before access to the naughty stuff is granted by the wearer.

On the other hand: it's replacing the "to whom it may concern" a random spent cartridge case has with "this one was addressed to a specific target".

yeah you dont get to live down incest.
I wonder how much of that is projection. Muslims do call unrelated people brother and sister in much the same way "bro" gets used by yuppie white guys, black guys from the 'hood, and everywhere else in between to say "we have things in common and you're my friend".

True, but iirc it all points to being her actual brother.

She's on her third husband according to Wikipedia. I wouldn't take anything about her marriages to be true unless I hear it directly from the guy.

BTW: My parents actually are siblings. They didn't know that until after they were grandparents.

Yup!

My parents' dad is not listed on either of their birth certificates and dad is twelve years older than mom. It took weird "that shouldn't be possible" results when my youngest sis needed a kidney for that to be revealed.

That must have been a fun conversation.
