    • Here's the latest updates on jockeying for position inside the Evergreen State:

    *United States Senator: No surprise 4-term incumbent United States Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA St) is seeking reelection to 5th term unless she pulls an LBJ retirement shocker.

    *Governor (OPEN): WA St Governor Jay Inslee (D) announcing he's not seeking reelection to 4th term in 2024 has opened up the floodgates, with 3-term WA St State Attorney General Bob Ferguson (D) officially launching his campaign for the WA St Governor's Mansion.

    Also expect to see WA St Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz (D) jumping into the gubernatorial election as well as State Senator Mark Mullet (D). Big question is whether it'll come down to 2 Dems in the November general election ?

    *Lieutenant Governor: Presumably it's assumed WA St Lieutenant Governor Denny Heck (D) will seek reelection as the Evergreen State's 2nd most powerful statewide officeholder.

    *Secretary of State: WA St Secretary of State Steve Hobbs (D) will win 1st full 4-year term in his own right.

    *State Attorney General (OPEN): Intrigued to see whom the WA St Dems have to succeed Ferguson as the Evergreen State's Chief Law Enforcement Chief.

    *State Treasurer: DEM HOLD

    *State Auditor: Big question is whether McCarthy seeks reelection ?

    *Superintendent of Public Instruction: DEM HOLD.

    *Insurance Commissioner (OPEN): DEM HOLD depending on whom the WA St Dems put up to succeed Kreidler.

    *Commissioner of Public Lands (Likely OPEN): DEM HOLD

    *Also assuming several seats of the WA St Supreme Court will be up in 2024 đŸ¤”
