This is genuinely sad news IMHO. Epik is a web hosting company much like Amazon or GoDaddy but hasn't embraced the noble cause of banning and purging all content to the right of Ben Shapiro from being hosted on the servers like other companies. For a long time it seemed like a solid company that had actually legitimate free speech values and no major technical fuckups like Parler and many other similar free speech or right wing tech company initiatives had.
But alas... over the past few weeks there have been huge data leaks from Epik, with the third one happening recently thanks in part to the Hackers Collective known as Anonymous.
Anonymous first targeted Epik after the passing of the Texas Heartbeat Act when GoDaddy decided to kick the pro-Life group 'Texas Right to Life' off of their web hosting server and Epik picked them up as a client.

Apparently 180 gigabytes of sensitive user data was leaked to Anonymous initially, followed by a short time later with a leak of 300 gigabytes worth of material and now a third data dump, all of which is being poured over by journalists for some reason to determine it's "veracity" or "accuracy" or some bullshit. It's already resulted in lose jobs, threatened employment status and the general exposure of many individuals online activities.
