You see, it might be within SCOTUS's power to delay that, should they find that Texas has standing. And they may or may not. If they do though...well, from what we've seen alleged by the Texas suite, then there is a good chance that the conservative branch of the court will find in favor for Texas and its compatriot states. Because it is a matter of fact that Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin all had officials violating their laws, their constitutions, and even state court orders throughout the election in varying degrees.
I realize that as a far left liberal, if something doesn't meet with your expected outcome, you simply ask that everyone votes on it again until you're forced, by the sheer incompetence of the masses, to change their votes for them, but surely you might agree that this is something that conservatives might take issue with?
I'm not sure that's true. A lot of these lawsuits are having difficulty in the lower levels, but what these lawsuits are doing is opening a great deal of discovery cases. Trump is probably behind a lot of these lawsuits, even while they only officially bring three. But the discovery can be passed on and that can be used to strengthen other cases.
Most of what I saw from the Texas lawsuit isn't about Dominion or even discussing the matter of a "raid" in Germany. Rather it's on the legality of certain actions within other states.
Anyone remember this?

I think it's more a case of them trying to rub it in, because they assume their victory is as assured in 2020 as Trump's was in 2020 at this point. You may not recall, but the left went absolutely nuts in trying to find some legit way of stopping Trump's ascendency. Clinton didn't pursue allegations of fraud (not that she could prove in court anyway) and instead celebrities sought to persuade party electors, chosen for their loyalty, to switch votes.
I find it amusing, personally. Because while there have been some right-wing kneejerking and panic responses, on the whole the Republicans have been much more mature than the Democrats were. And whereas the Democrats at this time last year were putting together clips of celebrities to beg Republicans not to elect Trump, Republicans are mustering a massive legal campaign to challenge the legitimacy of election changes made at the last minute, all the way to SCOTUS.
They're sort of waiting for Republicans to hit the same level of despair that they experienced in 2016. I fear regardless, their wait will be long coming and their "victory" will taste like ash.

Fucking Lol, It was hard to stop myself from laughing in public transport at this bullshit. The lawsuits have all been filled with sub obvious bullshit that they haven't even won a single case. Texas will not have any standing in the court case and the entirety of their evidence rests on previously debunked bullshit. They almost certainly won't even get leave to have the hearing because they do not have standing.
Texas is not actually going on about election fraud or that. They are literally saying those states broke the constitution and thier own state ones.

Well, you may unfortunately be right that the lawsuits won’t go anywhere, but when we compare these lawsuits to the way that the Democrats have been acting in the past 4 years, it’s really a very measured response. We’re not rioting, not assaulting people or vandalizing buildings, we haven’t trumped up fake charges to justify an impeachment against Biden.
Actually, the left has been the more extreme in their reactions regarding this, you can barely mentioned these topics on left wing controlled social media without being banned, censored, or “fact checked” in some way. The people who spent years telling us that voting machines were used to cheat to help get George W. Bush into office and who spent years telling us that Russians hacked the election in favor of Trump are now suddenly so sure that the election process can’t be rigged that anybody who questions it has to be censored.
Really, even if questioning the election results were entirely baseless, this 1984 stuff where we aren’t even allowed to discuss it is scary and doesn’t bode well for America’s future under leftist domination.
