Good idea - but i would rather buy one or two from Japan. They would be more safe.
Ours are VVER not RBMK, much safer.
.
What we really need are 4th gen reactors I believe that the metal cooled ones in particular are supposed to be the safest design.
Metal cooling has been the reactor type for most nuclear submarines, IIRC.

That, or Thorium.

Maybe if the EU had dumped some of the money it wasted on sustained fusion and green nonsense into thorium reactor development we would have power so cheap right now we'd be begging people to use more of it.
But no, China has to eat our lunch.

I hope the greens reee.

Seconded!

Or you poles can, you know, build some nuclear reactors...

We are, what, maybe 1/4 of your population, and we almost built a second nuclear power plant.

It will be the most delicious event ever if we can use the EU's green bullshit money to finally build Belene and upgrade and refurbish Cozlodui.
No they can’t, Europe gets its uranium from Russia, the French have an alternate supply in their de facto colonies, but there isn’t enough to go around

So despite having different political and nationalistic interest, everybody agrees that the Greens should hang themselves to the nearest tree? How did they get voted in office in the first place?
Because urbanites don’t understand food, and so are dumb enough to support any such policies, honestly at this point I am wondering if maybe pol pot and Mao werent entirely wrong on what to do with urbanites.

That's a problem that can be solved with education because its a very simple concept.

Do not piss off the people who grow and supply your food.

People start out ignorant about everything. If they're never presented with 'the basics,' only the small percentage who take the initiative on such things will actually learn.
That food doesn't magically appear at the store, and requires things to be produced is not something that should need to be taught, if you cant understand that without being told you have no business making decisions about your own life, much less anyone elses.

I was most of the way through this clip, and the line "And this is a Conservitive Govenment, and they're the ones who are supposed to protect the working class and the little guy" and it struck me as hilarious, I still remember the Labour Party being all about that, at the top of their lungs.

Man, as the world turns.

From the perspective of a child, why would they know this? The food is just there. They don't see the process by which it is produced or delivered. The store is simply where you go to get it.

This is part of why the left has been deliberately working to infantilize people for longer and longer as best they can. 'Magical thinking' keeps people from seeing the massive holes in leftist ideology.

If you have ever seen even a tree growing, then you would recognize fruit doesn't magically appear in stores, even in my youngest memories I never thought food magically appeared at stores, the most I thought was that more of it was produced locally then it is.
