It is not "saw own leg off". It is "roaming band of 20 barge into house after house and saw the legs off the residents in far smaller groups than themselves". Propaganda, censorship, and social leverage are very real things things. Morale is a thing. Every single step of the way, the people getting up to this bullshit exploited human nature to make the people with relevant choices as few and in their pocket as possible, while denying information that would give reason to oppose them to the public and not hesitating to plug leaks lethally.

Only paranoid martyr complexes are going to pass this shit-test, Sane. Only madmen are going to look at the Nazis in 1935 Germany and say a full-blast civil war to depose the party at large is reasonable. To reduce it to "but muh free will" ignores all the people with not the remotest influence on the Nazis rise to power horribly brutalized by them and their highly developed system to make it as meaningless as possible.

And here you are again, blaming God for the evils mankind commits.

And you still have not even attempted to explain away how those who were, who could, who had clear opportunities, refused to stop these evils when they did not have the massive costs that stopping them involved later.

I'm not saying blame God and I'll be the first to admit that I've come to believe nations as a concept are borderline evil, but the people who should be punished have a very bad knack of avoiding Karma and by the time judgment day comes it won't matter, because all except the elect who have embraced Jesus will suffer the same fate.

Similarly, in the here and now, people keep electing leftist and 'centrist' governments that are actually leftist, across Europe. They repeatedly voted in the people who caused the migrant crisis, they repeatedly vote in people who promise them government support and aid in exchange for more of their money, and ultimately their freedom.

People in 'the west' live in a day of unprecedented ability to control the political future of their nations, and how that will impact their lives. They can remove the head of state and various ministers with an election, rather than needing to violently overthrow a king, a dictator, or a military junta.

Yet time and again, they sacrifice freedom prosperity, for promises of security and the ability to be less responsible while avoiding some of the costs. They close their eyes to the truth, and listen to the sweet lies that tickle their fancies, and so they plant the seeds of their, and their children's, destruction.

I dearly hope the harvest will not be as bad as it was eighty years ago.

I spoke out against the current as much as I could up to the point I realized I was casting pearls before swine. Voted for Trump in the 2020 election and voted straight Republican in the last set of elections in my state. Am I faultless, no I still fell for the college scam just like many others, my only defense is that my parents and I made the best decision we could make given the information given to us and the promises made to us at the time, but still doesn't change that we fell for it.

That is not however the same as voting for Joe Biden or supporting Socialist policies. Both of which I can say I did not do. I'm part of that 49% that get overridden by the 51%

I said that men who don't rise up in revolution are accepting the tyranny placed upon them, which is a fact. A historical, literal fact. Everyone literally has the option to rebel at any moment, and not doing that is acceptance. It's a fact, not a suggestion.

Alexander Solzhenitsyn maintained this philosophy while suffering to a degree few can claim to understand.


If you want my suggestion, make yourself as healthy, as physically strong, as wealthy, as broadly skilled, as supported, and as well protected as possible. If you have one arm and no legs make that arm really big. Past that it's not my job to tell you what is and isn't worth tolerating or dying over.

But if you choose to tolerate something, accept that it was your choice.
