Doom Slayer outmatches Master Chief pretty solidly now. I'm not sure if the latter even has the capacity to hurt him, frankly.

I dont think anything changed from last time except that Doomslayer is more powerful thanks to his feats and kit he got in Doom Eternal. But Yeah I don't see Master Chief doing well unless he approaches it from range.

The gameplay of Doom almost punished you for camping and sniping and really encouraged the run and gun approach and unfortunately for MC it means Slayer can close distance all that much better thanks to his grapple.

Still Chiefs best chance is keeping distance. Sniper Rifles and Rocket Launchers. Or fifty caliber pistol sniping like the good old early Halo multiplayer. Despite ripping apart scads of demons with his bare hands Slayer still needs to blasts dudes to stun them before ripping and tearing and I'll give the Chiefs armor and shields the benefit of a doubt in making him more survivable then your typical Doom demons. I'm sure the amount of punishment he's taken is calcd somewhere.

Maybe Chief would be Diet Marauder level. He really needs a plasma sword to survive up close and sticky plasma grenades would be fun. But Yeah... Slayer nine out of ten. Slayer closes range, weathering near rocket misses and not getting put down by long-range fire and the batters down MC close range with his own arsenal until the shields drop and armor is battered, then he runs him down and rips and tears in suitable fashion.

Slayer nine out of ten.

Maybe give MC a jetpack or something lol.

For the same reason he brought it up in the last Doom thread? He's apparently so powerful he doesn't need guns etc...

Well he can punch demons so hard they explode, and he launched himself out of a cannon into a building at supersonic speed and was completely unfazed afterwards , so very strong.

As Dovakhin said, I think as of Eternal Doomslayer has surpassed MC.

An interesting thing would be to ponder just how good he was before the upgrades he got thanks to the 'Asshole Aliens.' It seemed pretty clear he was Human but was still managing to clean house in the Gladiatorial arenas. How was he ripping and tearing his opponents? WITH HIS BARE HANDS the whole time?

i would say probably yes, but it's hard to know for sure due to FPS game abstaction.

Doom Slayer physical feats has been calced weeks ago like punching huge metal block, punching huge door, run towards hell priest, jump higher and become human cannonball.
