Election 2020 Dem Donors say “if you choose Warren, we back Trump”.

I'd rather spend the political capital doing something about, say, offshore bank accounts. Or shell companies.
Well the thing is that even if you did the wealth tax. Without first hitting those things. Said tax will only effect upper middle class folks. While Corporate fat cats continue to offshore the money and avoid the taxes. Basically the whole idea of a wealth tax us bunk. Until you solve the actual issue (offshoring). Which if done makes the wealth tax moot.

There's actually several methods the rich can use to avoid paying taxes, that are unavailable to the rest of us; and the fact that the Democrats have failed to put forward a plan to tackle any of them, puts lie to the idea that they actually care about making the rich pay for anything. Not that the Republicans are any better in this regard.

I actually don't mind the rich being rich, I don't mind them having lots of cash squirled away what I mind is assholes who impose their way of life onto everyone else.

The rich guys who just wants to hoard wealth and keeps to himself? I don't have a problem with that guy.

The pricks at google who censor anyone who disagrees with their views fuck them.

Yeah the "leave me the hell alone". Principle is a good one.

I think a tax on gross receipts is better because it tends to reward success.

You know, I think your Western Left and even China and other governments like in Africa, are kinda ignoring that “leave me alone” principle even exists, as far as they’re concerned you guys are just “selfish” and idiots who are defending “fat cats”

And even if they do acknowledge it, I think Centralization or Government Action or even Corporations Being Your Friends has been romanticised more and more these past few decades

The ONLY way to accomplish great things is as a forced majority collective, even one with lots of social pressure or social blackmail, instead of lots of individuals merely agreeing to work with one another while still pointing out how/why something goes wrong and leaving the group or agreeing to still allow the others to express their ideas but not exactly act on them if they hurt the others

The absence of overarching hierarchy or “Order” is not necessarily “Chaos” if most people are smart and calm and reasonable enough to eventually make good decisions

Hilariouly government regulation actually increases not decreases corporate power. By making it to expensive for normal folks to get into business for themselves. Now a certain amount of control is of course necessary. It should be minimized to as small of an amount as possible. To make it possible for folks to succeed over corporations.

I wouldn't mind either, if many of them didn't go to great lengths to avoid having to pay their fair share for the infrastructures they take advantage of, in ways those of us who are not rich cannot.

I'm of the belief that even without an outright totalitarian government, there are too many people who feel that they "need" a big organisation to make more laws and regulations and other projects.

Problem is that, I think the complaints are only remotely seen as okay when the taxation goes to Military projects, think of the whole repeated "Military-Industrial Complex" complaint

They'd be only really okay if its for general infrastructure projects such as free education and free healthcare

Speaking of education, part of the problem is that even with the internet, a cheaper alternative, people can't(much more understandable) and won't teach themselves with the internet or ask all the right questions or have much inquisitiveness in the first place.

Neither of those are infrastructure nor would I be ok with them.

Warren is one of the elite few politicians who outscores Bernie Sanders in the economic illiteracy index. In terms of economic policy, the general rule of thumb is to listen to what Pocahontas has to say and then implement the exact opposite.

Anyone further right to and equal to the center-left understands this.

Trump wants the Dems to nominate Warren. Doing so may welll hand him the election.

And what if the rumors are true and Hillary runs instead again?

Question, have any of the Democrat Donors been accused of fascism yet? Because saying something like this would show how they are not for “Social Justice”
