Crusader Kings 3 came out just a few weeks ago and while I'm not into these kind of grand strategy games I did have to share this gem they released with the v1.1 patch notes.

I tried playing crusader kings, I just couldn't get it. I'll have to try again some day. I think the issue seemed to be that it revolves too much around real life starting scenarios or locations, or it seemed to when I played it thus locking or heavily limiting actual choices.

I did figure out and enjoy stellaris though
