I think RazorFist is right; the CHAZ is bait to try and get Trump to send in the military. He might have to eventually, but I think he'll hold off for as long as possible.
 
I know all this is funny to meme about, but let's not ignore that this is an extremely dangerous state of affairs.

The Marxist left has a concept called "dual power" which essentially means that when local power falls out of the local authorities and into the streets, it is their job to reconstitute a new authority. This is what happened in the Paris Commune, this happened in Russia in 1905, and it's what happened again in 1917. It's what began to happen in the Occupy Wall Street movement. They were trying to create "general assemblies" or "worker's soviets" ["soviet" once meant essentially "council"] that could organize people and put them into a situation of either direct or delegated democracy. This might only be one step above anarchy and mob impulses, but it also lays the stage for demagogues and martyrs and firebrands to become symbols that the Left can and will rally around.

This is what brought Trotsky to national notice in 1905, and it's what formed the nucleus of the Russian communist party. Groups of councils/soviets/assemblies sprung up in factories and military units and towns and cities and neighborhoods, and these began to coordinate with each other. In Germany the workers waged hit and run battles with the right wing freikorps, and it was only by a miracle that the Polish military prevented the Soviets from linking up with the German workers.

Any half-literate Leftist who has picked out their own anarchist/marxist/communist/socialist flavor is having their almonds activated by this, hardcore. They are hoping this multiplies. Worst case scenario is we get a repeat of the Occupy Wall Street movement, all across America, which could essentially steal local governments of authority and legitimacy. And make no mistake many city and local governments in blue areas are filled with half-sympathetic liberals who will turn radical if it keeps them in charge.

The fact that a failed Soundcloud rapper has risen to the status of warlord should clue us into what their leadership cadre will be—white trans trust-fund commissars executing the orders of Tyrone Stalin Mountain Dew Camacho.

And it could easily spread. Republican-controlled places still have large black and latino neighborhoods—most notably south Texas near the border, and lots of other purplish cities in red states. Namely Virginia, the Carolinas, Florida, and Colorado. Leftist cities are still America, and while cities have their problems obviously, you can't write off huge parts of the country unless you're calling for dissolution of the Union or separatism or whatever other conclusions must logically follow. What comes next, or what kind of coalition would assemble to challenge this, would be an interesting discussion.

Hypothetically: a CHAZ forms in New York, say in Zucotti Park, and in other places in major cities like Chicago and Houston, and in smaller majority-minority cities—St. Louis, Ferguson, Dallas, really anywhere.
Cops are paralyzed by local govt, or outright run out of precincts. They are told to stand down. Some decide to try and "co-opt" the autonomous zones by volunteering for them, and then get sucked into the performative Maoism that is warping lots of minds and forcing people to say and believe in the feminine penis and the holiness of the perpetually-innocent black man. City government has a number of opportunists and Kerenskys who decide to join the Autonomous Zones, calling for a revolution, a Constitutional Convention, a forcible removal of Trump from office, etc. Cuckservatives try to split the baby and talk about "reforming the police" when that is obviously no longer the goal. If the zones last (and don't face any contest) they become more organized, more emboldened, and will do everything they can to prevent an "illegitimate election," and could very well hold "elections" of their own—and then the cat is out of the bag. Gotham will be in ashes.

Multiple Autonomous Zones springing up in cities and absorbing some of the local govt puts the onus back on Trump to restore order, and if he does one tenth of what Obama did to crack down on Occupy Wall Street (coordinated federal crackdowns using DHS, FBI, tear gas, pepper spray, etc.) he gets painted with the tyrant/dictator brush, and he loses the cover that he's found by letting the state and local govts sort it out. If he sends in the army he risks a bloodbath—or worse, having some of them join the Autonomy Zones, or refusing orders.

Yes, having Leftist insanity front-and-center in the downtowns of major cities will cause lots of liberals and moderates to either veer rightwards, or else leave the cities and their livelihoods and their buglives. But lots of libs and moderates will follow the herd, or turn full pinko from fear or groupthink. And yes, we might see the preppers and 2A guys and Atomwaffen psychos come out of the woodwork to start shit, but at that point we're no longer talking about voting for president in 2020, or a second-term agenda, we're talking about a de facto insurrection and a choice to take sides.

It would be the perfect time for China, Russia, North Korea, or whatever other enemies we have to pull shitty stunts, making Trump look even weaker. It would be the perfect time for China to dump treasuries on the open market or for more fuckery in the oil markets. It would be the perfect time for Israel to move some (possibly nuclear) chesspieces oround the board.

Of course this CHAZ nonsense could all dissolve in a week, and there is some primo hilarity in seeing the incompetence of the trust-fund anarchists who can't grow plants, but there is nothing funny about the Far-Left taking over a territory, declaring independence, and seeing a literal warlord fill that void. This is straight out of the color revolution playbook, and just because there are fewer riots and the protests have died down somewhat does not mean that this is over. I still trust Trump's judgement on this matter, but if we see Autonomous Zones popping up in other cities and lasting, then we're looking at the Boogaloo.

Obviously everyone here knows that Trump can't just swoop in with the National Guard and stack anarkiddies like cordwood, not if he still wants to win re-election. If it does, then it will be exponentially more difficult for the media to cover up and exponentially more likely to fail with each city this happens in. Never mind that Seattle's is only happening because its being allowed to happen with by the mayor and so on.

I thought that was obvious, they have been doing that the whole time they keep pushing saying why hasnt he done anything while screaming he is a fascist, as for his response let the latte suckers live under the system they dream about.
 
Folks on the right in America need to step up their trolling game.
I've yet to hear of drums of flavored lubricant or bags of gummy dicks showing up at discount Starbucks-antifa's storied 'CHAZ' as donations in-kind to their valiant effort at secession like people tried with the Malheur Occupation.
Or, I guess, to make it more contextually appropriate as actually trolling in this situation, boxes of Bibles and garden seeds since the lube might actually see practical application.

A silly situation, and somewhat of a nonsensical one considering the SPDs lack of any real noted abuses or problems to my hearing (literally the only ones I've seen raised are that they used tear gas and shit on previouos days/nights before the precinct got taken-over--which is about the biggest nothing-burger possible).

Importantly to remember here is that the Soviets in 1917, had the backing of defected Tsarist soldiers. This gave them even more legitimacy, further discredited the provisional government and as Mao said, “all political power grows out of the barrel of a gun”. Hence even the Soviets were called “workers and soldier’s councils”.

If we start seeing the military defect to such dual power institutions-then things will have reached the point of being unsalvageable.
