I dont think you understand what kind of training Infantry gets these days. urban combat is something they know very well, especially in places we live in day in day out. Everything we do and train for, are done in buildings resembling modern ones.
People immediately go "Guerilla warefare will let us beat the US MILITARY! Look at Vietnam! LOOK!" When it was more complicated then that.

No I totally understand for you and who else is good in the military will have better preparation for urban warfare.
It will still suck but you're more prepared than other militaries.

My thoughts about CHAZ can easily be tl;dr-ed: We used to think that Life of Brian was satire and vastly overstating the dysfunction of The Left. Now it seems the PFoJ was actually way more efficiently organized than their real life counterparts.

I hope I'm not guilty of thread-derailment by answering you, but the two themes are:
1. Infighting between rival groups who hate each other more than the Romans.
2. Spending about 90% of their time in committee meetings, debates, drafting proclamations, etc rather than even attempting to actually DO anything.
