The Americas Bolivian City Under Siege by Violent Demonstrators

First off... most of the LAMEstream news media refused to cover this story but thankfully some responsible news outlets, such as the New York Post have covered the story... but did so poorly.

As you can readily see however the notoriously right wing New York Post referred to the protestors as cows (it wasn't just cows, there were males as well) engaged in mostly peaceful demonstrations in the city of Santa Cruz, Bolivia. It is important to point out that while most of the marchers were in fact White, some Black bovines and Bulls could be seen among their number. Despite being characterized as violent, only four people were injured during the demonstration, no doubt thanks to the needless escalation by local law enforcement who not just overreacted, but even left visibly agitated demonstrators hogtied in the middle of the street, their big dumb dark eyes begging for help from unsympathetic bystanders and neighbors. As of this report, 17 demonstrators have been arrested by the local fascist authorities.

Furthermore we have no idea what these protestors beef actually was. It's gone unreported. Is it over Land Reform? Water Rights? Climate Change? Environmental Justice?

Do better Mainstream Media. Let every voice be heard or expect more cowlamities in the future.

At first I thought you were being incredibly deregatory and insensitive towards the people of Bolivia and was about to hit the report button. Then I saw the video.

*applause*

(Aside: I have a soft spot for Bolivia. My grandfather lived there during WWII.)

Yes dealing with a report would've been an udder drag. I would've hated to be the laughing stock here.

And good on you. It's natural to have love for ones original homeland. Though eventually, like many of our immigrant parents and grandparents, they all liked to move onto greener pastures before they were milked dry.

He was from Chicago, but yeah, remembering where you came from is important.
