This is kind of the inverse of the "Woke" Franchises thread. Every so often a celebrity that isn't already outspoken and likely cancelled or some business or franchise ends up doing something rather contrary to the ongoing tide of Woke and Social Justice and Progressive trend of marketing and social media in popular culture.
I'll start with two examples...
Better Red Than Dead:
Rose Namajunas, a Lithuanian-American UFC Fighter is going to face Zhang Weili at UFC 261 for the UFC Woman's Strawweight Championship bout. She recently made some comments critical of the Peoples Republic of China from which Zhang Weili is a citizen of and representing.
There was much ree'ing so in a later interview with Ariel Helwani, Rose decided to stand by her comments.
Rose Namajunes (9-4/7-3 UFC) is a good fighter but Zhang Weili (21-1/5-0 UFC) has a stronger overall record, though until recently she hasn't faced the same level of high quality opponents. Still the odds are against Rose in the upcoming bout as Vegas has it -185 to +150. Still as Bilbo Baggins once stated: "I can't lie to you about your chances, but you have my sympathies."
In a second story... Steak-umms... I have no idea what company this is... apparently has a 'Beef' hurr durr with popular astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
Well Done.

Rose Namajunes said:The animosity and things like that, those can be very motivating factors in short moments, but in all actuality going into the fight there was, I was, maybe there was certain, um rivalries and things like that, but I always kept myself in control. I never really hated the person. I don’t hate Weili or anything like that, there’s nothing... um, you know, but I do feel as though... I have... I have a lot to fight for in this fight. And what she represents and um, you know, I was just, I was just trying to remind myself of, you know, all the—my background and everywhere that I come from and my family and everything like that. And I kind of wanted to educate my training partner Chico Camus on the Lithuanian struggle and just the history of it all. So we watched The Other Dream Team just to get like an overall sentiment of what we fight for. And so, just after watching that it’s just a huge reminder of yeah: better dead than red, you know. And I think, um, I don’t think it’s any coincidence that Weili is red, you know, she’s a, that’s what she represents. It’s nothing personal against her, but that’s a huge motivating factor of why I fight and I fight for freedom and I’ve got the Christ consciousness, I’ve got Lithuanian blood and I’ve got the American dream and all of those things I’m taking with me into this fight.

Namajunas stands by communism comments, but not directed at Zhang ‘as a person’
Rose Namajunas raised controversy just a few days ago with her comments regarding her upcoming fight with Chinese UFC strawweight champ Zhang Weili. Among
