So after a decent run Last Man Standing is ending. Which while sad did not survive two hiatus and Kids graduation leaving the show a bit listless and directionless.

But Tim Allen is now making a show on History Channel called Assembly Required. Which as you may have guessed it is a reality t.v. snice History doesn't do History anymore. It is definitely influenced by Covid 19 pandemic restrictions.

The basic plot is that Tim Allen and Richard Kahn reunite after 30 years to host a make it show like Forged in Fire.

Overall it reminds me of a mix of Making It and Junkyard Wars. It is slower paced then most Amercian reality shows nad is more like Bristish ones I have seen. But is interesting in that they send supplies to three different contestants have have them make something. Last epsoide I saw had them make mobile BBQs from bikes and what they had on had.

I am not sure how it will work out snice some of the commentary between Tim and Richard is a bit stilled. Not to mention having everything be remote filmed causes some problems in showcasing the building process. It also relies on a bit of Tool Time nostalgia. But the ideas for builds are interesting and the contestants approaching the final build in different ways is what makes the show for me.

But if you like Tim Allen and build it shows you may want to check it out.
