because my good friends @Buba and @ATP love the South Eastern Med so much I decided to create this thread.

The land swapped(everything green in the map above) is replaced with parts of Arrakis as of the time just prior to the first book, it will contain a few of the larger Sietches like Sietch Tabr and a lot of sandworms and other Dune flora and fauna.

Good,but you must change worms - normal ones would die from too much water,and fremens,as addicted to spice,would die,too.
But,if worms survive,fremens would rule the world.
To be honest,not worst scenario for us.

Unless polish/russian/ukrainian neopogans are right,and powerpuff slavic tate - Lechia/polish noeopogans/ or Russia/russian/ really existed,then they ,of course,would win!

But,according to our neopogans,evul catholics destroyed it in OTL,so maybe they destrou it here,too?

Not exactly, in the GEoD book and previous books it is explained that the sandtrout, of which the worms are the final cycle, basically "duneforms" planets.
It will not be a problem immediately, but down the line we might want to start doing population control so as to prevent them from desiccating too much of the planet.

But,if worms survive,fremens would rule the world.

With the tech we could get we can easily build spaceships and colonize the solar system.

And we don't have a great convention.
If anything I see lots of Fremen adapting a more leisurly lifestyle now that they don't live on an occupied hellhole, e.g. get "corrupted" by easy living they way they did in the later novels.
