Head of Sberbank, but I kind of doubt western banksters are much different.

It is from Sankt Petersburg Economic Forum, it's quite telling how assured of himself he his when among his own...

There's a significant difference between russian oligarchs and western bankers.

Gref is a bankster but not an oligarch, he was appointed as head of bank, but he doesn't own it.

And his sentiment isn't that different to the bankster that is current PM of Poland, Morawiecki, how "we need to squash expectations of people and make them work for a bowl of rice"...

He's a politician, was minister of finance of trade, and is now head of a bank. Given he is high up in Russia, which is a psuedo dictatorship, of course he is in favor of deluding the masses. This isn't the cite you are looking for, if you want to critique the West. It does show that Russia Today is a bunch of BS, but that's about it.

Exactly, Russian bankers are much less sophisticated than their Western colleagues, who hide their contempt for common people behind PR virtue signaling, instead of putting it out in the open like this guy did.
