Twitter is filled with ridiculous videos and reports coming out of Taiwan, moreso then usual with breaking news stories.
Anyways the threats of tsunamis seems to have passed in large part.
Nine reported dead so far with dozens trapped from a 7.2 magnitude Earthquake and multiple aftershocks 4.0 and greater.
Many of the trapped are from partially collapsed buildings where rescuers are actively working to save them. And apparently it was a rockfall that killed three people.
Thankfully so far, doesn't seem nearly as terrible as the Earthquake that struck Taiwan back in 1999 which had many more times the casualties.
