What If? 15th Century Central Europe gets ISoT-ed to Planetos?

By act of ROB, Westeros and Essos are pushed further apart, and into the gap are inserted Central European countries: specifically, Hungary, Poland and Wallachia. The time is the reign of Matthias Corvinus, specifically year 1460. when both Matthias and Vlad Tepes were rulers of their respective countries. They arrive just before the War of the Five Kings.

Matthias' goal is to ultimately sit his royal ass on the Iron Throne, by any means necessary. Secondary goal is to just survive. How does it go?
 
I'd like to see Essosi raiders try that. I think that the Black Army could spank anything Essos has to offer pretty hard unless it's magic or dragons.

I don't think that Central Europe has the manpower or resources to conquer Westeros, but considering the fact that Westeros is at war, Matthias Corvinus might be able to become a major power player in Westeros by tipping the balance in his favor, making the right allies, and so on. I don't think he can take Westeros through military force alone.

That was the idea. It would be similar to what he tried to pull off with Holy Roman Empire.

Did those countries get land bridge to Westeros and Essos,or they need ships ? becouse only country who had ships was Poland, and even then they belonged to coastal cities, not Kings army.

One more thing - Poland was in the middle of war with Teutonic order, and supported by cities in Prussia, including Gdańsk which had biggest fleet.
Was Teutonic order state ISOT ed, too ? if so,cities would support Poland, which in 1460 arleady abadonned ineffective levies and waged war using mercaneries and King guard sometimes.The same goes for teutonic order.
Both sides could try hire mercaneries - or stop fighting.

No, the Teutonic Order was not ISOT-ed.
 
Essos's armies are...kind of non existent? They rely on slave soldiers using Bronze/Iron Age equipment and tactics, mercenaries that range from Medieval European w/elephants (Golden Company) to the mixed bag companies like Second Sons where we have no idea what their equipment is like. The Europeans are under no real threat from them.

I don't see the landbridge Europeans conquering anything long term in Westeros since WoFK hasn't started yet, and honestly, their appearance in the world might actually prevent the WoFK from even happening.

They are landbridge ? Then Dothraki would attack them.Considering that all countries faced tatars and survived, their parodies would only amuse them.
If Poland get prussian cities which supported us, Poland would have realatively big fleet/especially Gdańsk/.If not, there would be only few ships.
What next ? 3 Christain kings would at least not attack each other, even if they do not ally.Hungary in OTL try to conqer ,so they would the same.Wallahia only try to survive, so they probably do the same,too.
Poland - we arleady had strong gentry class which do not liked wars,so conqest is out of the question.

I bet on Hungary creating its own empire.Nobody in Essos or Westeros had army capable of facing them.

They have soldiers who march into battle on STILTS.

Compromise.Vlad would flay alive half of his victims, and Boltons impaled half of theirs.Thanks to that,all would be happy.Except victims.
Althought...i read about some boyar who blessed Ivan the terrible after he impaled him.Considering that he say that in his son presence, he probably did it to save his sons, but...maybe he really liked it?

Poland had king,but his 3 sons was still babies.But we would certainly try marry 2 of them.
About polish military - King had royal guard,there were small border units against Tatars and Moscow, but aside from that Poland - except mercaneries hired to fight teutonic order - we had no army.
King could call levies, but they would want something for that,and besides was good only against other levies - mercaneries would defeat them.

Are Dothraki actually supposed to be inspired by Mongols, like did Martin say that? Cause I definitely see the Huns, and Drogo had some real Attila vibes.

Agree with the Greyjoys being the Westeros redneck vikings.
