Apparently there was a championship final. Apparently that Louse in charge of the city decided to throw a victory parade.
Yeah. Uh.
Not even twenty-five people turned up. :ROFLMAO: No-one even knew the game had been on, apparently.
2:50 onwards if you're lazy. ;)
I'm not sure if that foootage - of the Chicago Sky victory parade - can be trusted. There are many examples of handpicked angles of photos/film making attendance of rallies look in a certain way.
So, in other areas of the city there could had been more people watching.
Not that I'm arsed enough to dig into the issue.

I watched the video and heard the comments about the women's game being slow and (thus) boring. I found that interesting, as personaly I like to watch ladies' football and rugby because it is slower and an OAP like me can keep up with the action :)

Interesting idea about lowering the basket - but it messes up with infrastructure.
I'm fairly sure that there are sports where the women play with slightly smaller equipment.
Top of mind - handball has smaller balls for women?

One would think that in football the smaller size of female goalies (males tend to be +190cm and with body proportions of an orangutan) - with goalposts and bar unmoved - should lead to higher scoring - but it doesn't ...

You're referring to the WNBA? I will post some offseason developments from the WNBA hopefully this week.

I checked and that happened in ... 2021.
The lack of crowds - the needless, criminal COVID restrictions have an impact?
Also - it was October - maybe a sunny day BUT just above zero and with strong, freezing cold wind from the lake? I'd not pull my butt outside unless I was paid ...

If the author of the video discovered Sky wining the title a year after the fact, that makes his coverage suspect due to suspected lashings of ignorance about the women's game.
