    BREAKING: Hungarian President Katalin Novak announcing resignation over pardon controversy.

    Howdy from the Alamo City Sietch family. Just stumbled upon one big juicy scandal out of Hungary as Hungarian President Katalin Novak announced her resignation just a few minutes ago following backlash against Novak due to the pardon controversy. What are the ramifications of Novak's resignation ?

    @Husky_Khan I liked Katalin Novak. Just cannot believe or fathom that she made a horrific lapse of judgement in pardoning a Scumbag, who was a fucking pedophile dating back to last year.

    Someone must've snitched & blew up the whole cover-up. The Justice Minister also resigned as well.

    • Without knowing more about their relationship and just how many pardons she gave out, its hard to know the legitimacy of the political fallout. She stated that she believed the person she pardoned was innocent of being an accomplice to the coverup of an associate who was convicted of child molestation while running a Foster Home. But it's also one of two dozen people she apparently pardoned ahead of a Papal visit to the country in April of 2023.

    She made an error and considering the association of the crime, it makes sense that she'd resign since there's public outcry now, but I think its safe to say it was obviously a political motivation as opposed to a sudden upsurge of justice gripping the opposition parties who oppose the ongoing Conservative government. Sounds like a grievous error of judgment on her part.

    And yes it wouldn't surprise me if there was a politically motivated leak behind it.

    Something tells me there's more dominoes falling in this scandal. I just watched the 'Law & Order SVU' episode on corruption in high places about 2 HRS ago & this is straight out of the SVU playbook.
