Chileans rejected the new Constitution in yesterday's referendum: For 38%, Against 62%. Antifa promptly lost its shit and rioted hard in downtown Santiago. Now we shall see what Boric and his gang will do to shove it down the Chileans' throats regardless of their wishes.

Heard about this late last night. Something tells me Boric and his hardcore anti-semitic freaks will up the ante even further.

First bit of good news I've heard out of Chile in a long while, although it seems kinda schizophrenic. Why would Chileans vote to replace Pinochet's constitution and elect an obvious far-leftist like Boric (and not narrowly either), but then nope out by such a huge margin when it's time to actually approve the new constitution? Just a 'well I didn't vote for the leopards to eat my face' - or rather, 'well I didn't realize the wokies we elected would want to implement a constitution so woke the country will need all the melatonin in the world' moment?

Could be; but I admit I’m hardy an expert of Chile.

Boric's election had large abstention numbers, especially among those who wouldn't vote for him. Same thing happened in Colombia.

The fact that the Plebiscite got rejected in a landslide sent a message to Boric: STOP!

Big question is whether he'll listen?

They finally realized oh shit these guys are insane.

When this process peters out Pinochet will be treated with a lot more respect in Chile.

Good to see most Chileans woke up to what was happening & gave Boric the middle finger in their votes rejecting the controversial changes to the Chilean Constitution from over the weekend.
