Pretty tasty, but I'm strange and like to pair spicy with sweet a lot. Although the ones I had weren't all that spicy. I miss spicy food, but my roomies don't like it so any time I'm making chili with fresh jalapenos and habaneros in it or making any curry its generally when I'm the only one...

Its pretty good. I've only had some local varieties, mind, but a lot of them have similar flavor profiles to wine, so you'll have the more bitter, dinner meads and the sweeter stuff that's just good for drinking by itself. Or served with chipotle brownies, nom.

I can't drink anything with hops in it, too bitter for me. I tend to go more for wine, or mead. Or hard cider/sodas, I like those too. Although I'll never turn down a good scotch or whiskey.
