Yay! Infinite fuckin drum solo with infinite fuckin skulls. I tried Suno V2 with various prompts, it was on par for AI. Which is to say, that a middle-school drop out from New Hampshire could have done better. Fucking Hampters.

He first says that GAI is only a few years away, then when asked about the dangers of AI is only focuses on GPT. That feels pretty disingenuous. He also implies that mass unemployment is a worry in the future, but we can already see it happening. He's laying this "80% in a few years" figure...

Bigger issue, other lands act as a pressure valve for your society. If everywhere is yours then there is no where to go to escape your rule, in which case the only recourse is rebellion.

Like it or not, neo-luddites will arise from this. How influential they are, how violent they are? Who can say. If AI takes a significant enough fraction of the jobs over a 5 year period then there will be mass unrest, no question. In some countries that unrest would probably lead to some...

In a few years it will be "Please, send us a finger so we can confirm you have our daughter! All these AI generated videos, we can't tell which groups of kidnappers has her." Imagine how hard this would be for Star Trek, with people using transporter clones to counterfeit kidnapping victims.

New grading system to come. "How did I do?" "I'd give you a GPT2." "Fuuuck." "The patient said that you were 'robotic', so naturally we were going to give you a perfect score, but then we realized that she was old and that it was a complaint."

If you're standards are low enough you can have orgies too. There is more media now, in the form of: art, film, literature, games and the like than in any previous period in time. You can spend every minute of the rest of your life in a state of permanent novelty. Though, like with the...

If AI took over the world in the next 24 hours, everyone would think it was a joke and it'd be almost impossible to convince anyone otherwise for the next week.

They had very few stressor events. Aside from the AI they had no real enemies except themselves, and they all had the same tech level. The final big bad of the book series is aliens that are better precogs than any human is, the only way to save humanity is to put them all in precog shielded...

I couldn't find that article, nor anything that supported it, except for this video. It's not saying the same thing, rather this is saying that the new GPT can intuitively use tools that it hasn't been trained on, and probably some other proofs as well, I haven't gotten that far into it yet.

Though, pretty sure, they included calculators in that. So they were pretty liberal in deciding what "imitating the human mind" meant. Essentially, anything that made the human organism weaker got chucked.

It sounds, from reading the article, like it's open to interpretation whether or not AI editing counts as AI content. According to the article, if there is any ambiguity then you must err on the side of disclaiming that there is AI content. This would potentially undercut a lot of potential...

I feel like this is the future of every industry. Like the captain from WALL-E. Everyone gets convinced that they will be so much more efficient if they offload the intellectual drudgery onto AI, not realizing that the drudgery was the only think keeping them sharp in the first place. Like...

Maybe. Depends on what aspect of the law you are talking about. Courtroom law has a lot to do with being convincing, which doesn't always require data to be on your side. They also said that the conversational aspects aren't much improved, and if ChatGPT and BingAI are anything to go by, that...
