It's part in parcel of the general suppression of the right. it's not that rallies or protests do anything, it's that an entire political party in a two party system can no longer politically organize in public.

I’m saying if that’s the price for making the information available to the public, then it’s expensive but worth it. Governments answer to their people, not the other way around.
