It's possible, but I'm betting we're dealing with an underlying condition. That blow didn't look that extreme, and the pads will distribute force across the whole side of the chest.
Dude didn't have Brady to rely on and 'coach' the offense then. He can stay mostly focused on Defense and leave a lot of the offensive stuff to Brady. There's the definite chance this works well for Tampa.
Odd decision with Brady coming back. Though, Arians has made some coin so he may just be looking for a nice job where he can take the time to stop and smell the roses.
