    I'm not saying the US shouldn't be involved. It's pretty much our backdoor. I was just pointing out the strategic nature of China playing around with Cen/South America

    China has a LOT of influence in Central and South America. I wouldn't be surprised to see Venezuela getting certain promises to make it happen in order to draw more attention from the US and provide add'l distractions away from China/CCP ops.
