You are either willfully ignorant, or disingenuous; regardless, you're coming across like a Nazi apologist, pleading that we need to make peace with Hitler (I realize that I'm invoking Godwin's Law here, but comparisons to Nazis are literally the only thing these people understand).

You also have to consider that their families are here; and at least some of them aren't going to side with the government. That's going to cause serious issues with morale.

You know, if we do have a second civil war, I don't think the conflict will be restricted to just two sides; there's enough division in this country that I wouldn't be surprised if everything devolves into warring city-states.
