Fiendfyre isn't a be all end all weapon. Its a very dangerous level of magic that even its own users have a hard time controlling. As shown by Goyle who lost control of it and ended up getting killed as the Spell burnt itself out.

I disagree. There are a lot of things obvious to us that isn't so obvious to them. Nor has such a spell been mentioned. Until I hear word of it, I'm going to logically assume they don't have it until we have confirmation otherwise. That's kinda how the whole 'Notice me not' spell came about...

I don't believe in no limits. Every system, to include magic has limits. The sad fact is JK Rowlings hasn't been clear on exactly what they are.

Which makes absolutely no sense. Because they're as human as anyone. And for every one Tom Riddle and Harry Potter you have a hundred average Joe's and Jane's who can barely perform basic Shield spells. Hence why the Weasleys enchanted clothing was so popular.

The intent was to find those who are comparable and can compete in a duel. Obviously there will be beings and entities higher tier than Wizards, but such entities are not within the spirit of the OP. I'm looking for those that can compete on equal footing.

If they're enhanced by magic but not active practitioners of Magic then yes they'd count as Muggles. Enhanced Muggles to be sure, but still Muggles. What do you think they would call such people?

So long as the character isn't himself a practitioner of magic. Esoteric abilities like XCOM Psi or Mass Effect Biotics are acceptable and count as Muggles. The Force is questionable and many consider it tied to magic and thus for this debate we will consider them non-Muggles. People who have...
