    Crossover Muggles in Harry Potter

Fiendfyre isn't a be all end all weapon. Its a very dangerous level of magic that even its own users have a hard time controlling. As shown by Goyle who lost control of it and ended up getting killed as the Spell burnt itself out.

Partially why I excluded them in the VS set up. With the Force you just never know.

    Crossover Muggles in Harry Potter

Given their lack of knowledge and understanding of the Muggle world, I think it's fair to say it's more than fanon.

You make some very good points.

    Crossover Muggles in Harry Potter

Indeed. One could realistically create plausible stories of 'Wizard Stomp' or 'Muggles are Awesome' tropes and be 100% plausible within the setting. Which is amusing as it is frustrating.

I disagree. There are a lot of things obvious to us that isn't so obvious to them. Nor has such a spell been mentioned. Until I hear word of it, I'm going to logically assume they don't have it until we have confirmation otherwise. That's kinda how the whole 'Notice me not' spell came about...

That's assuming the hide of the Spider is anywhere near as strong as its silk. Which isn't a certainty by any stretch. But again, Rowling refuses to give us jars numbers or anything to say one way or another.

Even losing a few dozen people is an almost catastrophic loss for them.

I gotta disagree, dude. They haven't won anything. They're the ones who went into hiding. There isn't a fight. And a Prime Minister can easily hold meetings elsewhere. Or if he so desires he can remove the portrait. But this is the only situation we know of in-verse in which a direct line of...

    Crossover Muggles in Harry Potter

Harry Potter verse clearly does have rules. But what those rules are, are very hard to pin down because JK Rowling refuses to establish them. Unless of course, she's fishing for brownie points. But here is the thing. A society that is clearly as racist and Xenophobic as the Wizarding World...

Hell, not even that. A couple of well placed snipers in the towers, a company of Infantry and a Machine gun nest or two could work.

    We'll have to disagree then.

    Crossover Muggles in Harry Potter

I don't believe in no limits. Every system, to include magic has limits. The sad fact is JK Rowlings hasn't been clear on exactly what they are.

Which makes absolutely no sense. Because they're as human as anyone. And for every one Tom Riddle and Harry Potter you have a hundred average Joe's and Jane's who can barely perform basic Shield spells. Hence why the Weasleys enchanted clothing was so popular.

Maybe. I don't know too much about him. What can he do?

The intent was to find those who are comparable and can compete in a duel. Obviously there will be beings and entities higher tier than Wizards, but such entities are not within the spirit of the OP. I'm looking for those that can compete on equal footing.

I see. I actually did not know this as I saw nothing on this. Still, for the purposes of this debate it doesn't matter what they're called, they are not wizards or practitioners of magic.

    Crossover Muggles in Harry Potter

If they're enhanced by magic but not active practitioners of Magic then yes they'd count as Muggles. Enhanced Muggles to be sure, but still Muggles. What do you think they would call such people?

    Crossover Muggles in Harry Potter

So long as the character isn't himself a practitioner of magic. Esoteric abilities like XCOM Psi or Mass Effect Biotics are acceptable and count as Muggles. The Force is questionable and many consider it tied to magic and thus for this debate we will consider them non-Muggles. People who have...
