'Climate Change' and the coming 'Climate Lockdown'

I think you're missing something. The vast majority of the GOP aren't Right. They're the controlled opposition. The Right has very, very little real power. There's a lot of Right, but almost all of them are at the bottom. Most political groups who do stuff the Right like, only go a small...

"How much will this change things?" "Uhhhh...I got no clue."

'Climate Change' and the coming 'Climate Lockdown'

Agreed. Although, there's also the people they pushed into the Church, into the Universities, and Unions..... A heck of a lot of our current oligarchs have connections to communist backed stupid crap. I'm pretty sure they saw how much power the commies had over their people, and wanted that...

Not disagreeing, but that's now. Not decades ago, when they were getting started. Look into the background of Greenpeace. You'll find they were small, almost meaningless- until suddenly, they changed. More money, massive changes in tactics and aims. It's an odd fact that right about then...

They were funded by the OPEC nations, the Soviet Union when it was a thing, and China. Greens were always a weapon aimed at the West.

It's even worse when the end result is pretty much always the opposite of why they say they want to shut it down. "Helping workers" has the effect of hurting workers. "Protecting the Enviroment" hurts it. I could stand the schemes a lot better if they worked at least a bit.

'Climate Change' and the coming 'Climate Lockdown'

Agreed. However, they only persist when they pay for themselves. As such, when you can profit from it, it's worth protecting. The timber industry wants those forests, wants sustainable logging for permanant profit. When the Greens lock them up, they aren't being protected and maintained...

'Climate Change' and the coming 'Climate Lockdown'

Ignoring other factors than age? Ok. Humans, animals in general, work on a setup where they grow up for a while, then decline from there. Once your dog is a full adult, that's the peak. It's all down hill from there. Trees don't work like that. Not even close. There are a number of...

You missed a step or two. Sanding a very careful amount of radiation at it, to kill the virus. Done right, it's a dead teaching item, for your immune system. It has to be perfect, or it doesn't work, and you get the disease. Most medicine's like that. The difference between medicine and...

There's a reason I didn't get it. No matter the occasional pressure.

Yup. It's almost like a untested DNA rewriting drug might have problems.

Ok, that's generally beyond me, without a LOT of work, but I got the gist. If you took the Vax, you have a higher chance of cancer. Potentualy much, much higher chance of cancer.

Again, you mean. I remember a few years after Global Warming came out, there was an email leak. A bunch of scientists we asking for more data, and were promptly told they should do as they were told, or they'd never work in their field again. That was decades ago.

No clue. Recognised Turk, and Christian. Didn't ask any further. That's Uber driving. You get a chat with somebody, might be interesting, might not. But, an hour or so, at most? Then, they're gone. Some great stories. But, I'll never see them again.

But not always. Although, when I was an Uber driver, I got a guy who was a Turk. That guy was a Christian, somehow it was just obvious to me. He though I was really brave when I made a few comments about Islam. :):)

Wow. They really blew up. There was a guy hit by a bumper bar, after it bounced. And he didn't move. I'm not going anywhere near those deathtraps. (Well, perhaps a Green protest....)

The only part of your post I have an issue with. Fossil fuels are a tool, and until we have a better one, we should keep using them. Solar, wind, batteries? Those, in general, are not better tools. More expensive, less capable, more poluting, and outside of single home levels, not reliable...

'Climate Change' and the coming 'Climate Lockdown'

Well, there was that story I heard a decade ago, or so. The subsidies were/are so good in the EU, there were farmers setting up wind farms with actual fans in front of them, because it was profitable to do so. Literal coal powered wind farms. That made money.

That's the theory. Tim Pool once talked about a ecconomic issue his company had, where money vanished between banks, apparently by accident, from what he said. After a consderable argument, the manager of the help section of his bank just changed his bank account up to reflect the amount it...

My reply is "For a city, it doesn't work." There are specific places and times it's useful, but not as a replacement for Mains power.
