    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

Yes, but that's because this is a specific ideological sub-group, as opposed to generally or generically, "black people who are Jewish".

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

I quoted the primary lines, just not the entire passage. Note that Antonio doesn't even apologize for repeatedly insulting and even assaulting Shylock both personally and for being Jewish even when he's demanding an obscenely enormous personal loan; in fact, he explicitly reiterates that he will...

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

Uh, yes we are. It's explicitly in the scene where Shylock lends them the money, and moreover, Antonio is so virulently anti-Semitic that he can't resist repeatedly insulting Shylock even though he's demanding a huge sum of money with no collateral but his own word. Not only that; this...

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

Shakepeare's The Merchant of Venice would be a classic example of "traditional" Jewish stereotyping. It's a literary classic, but it's also a really, really fucked up story the more you read it.

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

I would point out that this is not exactly a well-respected museum; it's a random no-name in Florida that originates from a community college project and puffs up its importance by saying that it's older than the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in DC.

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

Okay, can you provide any information on the extent of the fires in Minneapolis? Because yes, there's plenty of ground between Cork and Dresden; but even what you just set as the low bar for that expression vastly exceeds anyone's account of Portland. I do not in fact woodenly object to any...

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

Tell me, which cities have been burned down? Because Portland is supposedly one of the worst, and while there have been cases of arson (which *again* for the record I condemn), there have been no cases of a *building* burning down, much less anything that could be described as the entire city...

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

I try not to be a single-issue voter, but since I'm a transgender girl, that's pretty much the biggest single issue for me. I had a certain degree of hope regarding Trump in this regard because of his inclusive decisions regarding transgender women participating in the Miss America pageant, but...

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

I haven't been closely following that, TBH, but there's *very little* that would convince me not to vote for Biden given how strongly I disagree with Trump on pretty much everything. Even the one major issue where I strongly side with the "traditionally right wing" position in -- I'm strongly...

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

I'm voting for Biden, but I'm not going to flip the table if the election doesn't go my way, unless there's substantial and credible evidence that the election was improper. It's the cost of living in a democratic country; sometimes you're just not the winning vote.

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

That's a . . . simplistic narrative. The forms of oppression that Asians in the United States have faced are substantially different than those experienced by blacks, and have largely focused on not being allowed here at all, as opposed to de jure and later de facto slavery and the economic...

    Serious question about anti-Semitism.

As far as American history goes, this flipped dramatically around the 1950s or so. Prior to this Hispanics were seen as the desirable minority and Asians were the targets of massive social and legal bias, to the point of being almost absolutely barred from not only immigration but also citizenship.
