I agree, I don't want human enemies in Halo. Honestly, the best hope for Halo is if Microsoft lends a few Bethesda or Obsidian writers to an Activision Blizzard studio and have them make a Halo game. 343 is incompetent and can't make a true Halo game, that's pretty clear by now.

Eh. I wish they'd focused more on releasing information. For example, Bethesda's Ghostwire Tokyo, coming out in October, got 0 information. I think Microsoft gutted its marketing budget because Sony bought PS5 exclusivity for it before the Bethesda Acquisition deal was announced. However...

Halo Infinite pretty much stole the show at the E3 Xbox/Bethesda showcase, but I think it was largely because pretty much no other games got major announcements or good trailers. Like, The Outer Worlds 2 teaser trailer was literally just a joke trailer making fun of how bad and uninformative...

If it's not open world I'll be waiting til it sinks below $30 for sure. Probably for $20.

Halo is a series that was never really that good* feeling the pressure of having nostalgia backed expectations that even at it's height it would not be capable of fulfilling, let alone today. * In terms of gameplay it's a pretty good run and gun shooter. The story was never really that good though.
