It does sound pretty bland. If you didn't say It was Mediterranean I would've assumed it was some sort of Indian cuisine. Basically the same thing I'm sure. :p

Did you use an actual taco seasoning or mix?

Sapporo is my favorite brand of ramen as well. Great basis for meals when I was in college.
