That's not really an issue I care about in regards to the thread. It's not meant to be egalitarian through the history of video games. This thread isn't about the profound impact of how ground breaking Pong was or the introduction of Grandmaster level opponents in Chess programs.

Profound as in "thought provoking" and/or "emotionally impactful" in regards to story, characters or setting. Not just general gameplay or revolutionary mechanics or graphics or something.
