The last thing we need is that mods start enforcing pseudo-debating rules, like infracting people for "strawmanning". If someone is being strawmanned, or ad-hominem-ed, it's his/her/their/xirs responsibility to point that out. A mod shouldn't be a babysitter.

I like the tribble emojis just fine, they help make this place feel more unique. I'd be happy with retiring the stupid elf character thing emoji that complete ruins the theme. Either stick with one theme, or don't.

We need to put a hard limit on how many subforums we make. Too much and it becomes confusing, and many of them (the niche ones) will end up barren. Not gonna be a good look for the site.

I don't think an AooB rule will work with the Sietch. This board is different from SB, the SB exiles need an outlet to their frustrations. But yes, it should be kept contained.

That's a good point, and I agree with it. But the problem starts when some of the users start calling for everyone to ignore other users because they're saying something they don't like. The line has to be drawn somewhere (I don't think any of us will enjoy a completely "line-less" environment)...

Maybe we need separate subforums for "productive discussions" and "everything goes". That way everybody gets what they want.
