    I think the first season 12th Doctor was in was terribad, but the next two seasons seriously redeemed him. And there's that absolutely brilliant Christmas special with the kid who became a superhero. And... we're derailing. Let's stop.

    I've edited the list. What's wrong? SHE'S A WOMINNNNN!!!!! Just kidding. But she's not a good actor and her season sucks. I'm all for a female doctor, too bad it was a missed opportunity. Missy was great by comparison IMO.

    So literally the worst Doctors? (Not that Doctor Who is a masterpiece like the Expanse even at its best, more like a mildly fun and slightly embarrassing/childish low-budget romp).

    They map fairly closely to the TV show. There are some differences, such as Avasarala not appearing until the second book (that would be mid season 2), but nothing major, the TV series hits all the major plot points.
