You know I've never really had a roo sandwich... Pies, roasts, hamburgers, tacos, steaks and sausages yes but never a sandwich. :D It's a very low fat meat with a gamey taste that you have to cook right so that it's not too tough or odd tasting. But it's possible.

Thats why you add the cheese to the vegemite (or inferior marmite alternative ;)) crumpet as it melts into the holes and you get that gooey cheese and vegemite goodness.

Crumpets and English muffins far as I know are two different animals. Crumpets have a spongey texture and lots of little holes through them so that if you put something like honey on them it leaks through the holes and goes all over the plate beneath. English muffins are the McMuffins you get...

Put a slice of cheese on top after you've added the vegemite and melt it in (maybe under a grill, blow torch or in oven, something that won't make it overly soggy) = heaven.

That last one looks a bit complicated :p but the other ones are definitely giving me some ideas.

Those are two local regional varieties I am not familiar with ;)

I consider myself a connoisseur of cheeses :p and would give a solid 'meh' to the Havarti variety. Likes its alright but nothing about it really screams out to distinguish it from a whole slew of other semi-soft/semi-hard cheeses. I'd rate Gouda cheese as superior in most respects.
