    I suspect The lieutenant (aka Lou-Tennant's) armor was salvaged or recovered from storage rather then made. I never got the impression that the Master had much of a manufacturing base.

    Nevermind that you do have people who would have the knowledge. Besides the BOS and Enclave, I refuse to believe that (some of) the Vaults wouldn't have at least some knowledge.

    Yeah, it’s annoying. Then again, I also find how FO2 helped pave the way for the ‘wackier’ elements of the setting to come more to the forefront under Bethesda to be even worse.

    That’s a rumor I’ve heard as well; though as far as I am aware, there’s no official confirmation or documentation to back that up.
