    In fairness, imitating Oum is hard. He's an artist when it comes to animated fight choreography, with a particular and distinct style, and continuing a art project after the artist died is very hard.

    While Monty Oum was doing fight choreography, it was a step above, especially the trailers. The flow in the moves is amazing, and it's beautiful to watch. After he died though, it took a nose dive, and was much less interesting.

    The initial stuff was a lot of fun. The Monty Oum fight scenes carried the series (and really could have carried any series). Post Monty Oum, the fight choreography tanked, and I wasn't as interested. The plot was meh, and they really screwed up with the Faunus racism. Either make racism...
