Kelso? Who's that?

A guy who wrote a Colonial centric story. Main Protag was commanding the new Galactica, set to replace the old one upon her decommissioning. He ends up securing a fleet of his own to include a few surviving warships and a decommissioned Battlestar. They jump to a rally point to pursu Adama but something goes very wrong. And this is where the story takes a bit of a turn.

Huh, is it Warstar Galactica?
