Which is exactly why I was the one pointing out that labels mean nothing, so it's policies we have to discuss.
 
Didn't Iceland recently have all of it's female workforce, nearly an entire third of the population (~100,000) stage a walkout.

From what I understand, no one really noticed except where the streets were blocked, and things actually got done at the office while HR complaints plummeted for a day.

Alright, so let's assume we all agree with the "wave" classification. So I'll go wave by wave. First Wave feminists, ie the Suffragettes.

First wave feminists just wanted the suffrage. And they got it. So do you think most Americans are not in favor of the suffrage? No, right?

Most Americans are in favor of women having the right to vote; that isn't a current political issue though. It's literally a hundred years old, even if modern feminists are inspiring some people to reconsider the issue.

Would you care to discuss any of the things that current feminist activists are pushing for or against?

Right because having a giant mining machine absolutely devastate the landscape looking for coal is so much better than nuclear power.

Oh! We can use the 'renewable' sources of power, that all seem to use rare earth metals that are non-renewable.

Totally a great move. I bet energy prices in Germany are going to skyrocket. And that'll eventually effect the poor and middle class directly and indirectly as they have to pick up that burden.

Seriously, it really bums me out.

I’m about as much of an environmentalist as one can be while still calling themselves a capitalist, but the modern environmental movement disgusts me with its stupidity.

Instead of focusing on tangible problems, like water pollution, overuse of pesticides and fertilizer, garbage overflow, plastic contamination, etc.. they decide to waste their efforts on boondoggles like “renewable” energy and fighting “global warming”.

We could have had clean, cheap, nuclear energy by now if it wasn’t for their moronic stand against it.

It's actually low key kind of terrifying. Communist China has been indebting European countries to it through Green initiatives for years
