Russia is currently in terminal demographic decline, their the 3rd fastest aging population in the world and one of the sickest populations in the world and their educational system collapsed during the 90s and now their running out of skilled labor. If their a problem then they are a temporary one.

Historcally speaking the US and Russia had warm realtions. The cold war was actually an anomaly maybe we can bring that back.

Best eqiupment? Best protective gear? Like...dont lie Sir, you give Special forces and Rangers the best, normal grunts dont get the best of those. MRAPs, like the Max (The big one) and the M-ATV, arnt the best. Like if you do decide to equip all the units with the best I expect a JLATV here in Korea.
Last thing we need is more MILITARY BLOAT in places like South Korea.
For the price the DoD spends on purchasing a SINGLE JLATV for our soldiers in South Korea, the DoD could spend on purchasing a JLATV for ME!

And honestly given the current geopolitical situation the US and Russia would make excellent Allies at as related to opposing China but as we also know politics and diplomacy don't tend to make sense.
just like Isreal's and Irans spat.
In any sane geopolitical situation the two would either be allies or neutral, between them are a host of countries that at innately hostle to both nations, but Iran cant accept that sempai will never love them and so things are the way they are.

Most of the Humvee in US Army are unarmored utility vehicles, uparmored variants were assigned to units deploying in Iraq and Afganistan. These variants also have shortened life span due to engine and suspension struggling with added weight.

Pretty much this. My dad who was a sailor saw them once and hated them. He would have liked the armored versions more but sadly he passed when I was in middle school which was in the early 90's. So he never got to see them. He would have been absolutely pissed about what happened on 9/11 and would have fully supported the invasion of Iraq.
