I doubt the blowback is going to be restrained to just targeting the LGBT community; there's going to be a lot of collateral damage. Ironically, much of it is probably going to spill over to people who are already experiencing abuse from the regressive left.

Poland has LGBT-Ideology free zones, but those seem like a weak cover for people who actually hate LGBT, allowing them to get mainstream attention and credibility from people who (somewhat rightly) fear LGBT activism.

The backlash against this is going to be heinous; and when it comes, and people smell blood in the water it will be pushed, and pushed and pushed and they will find people responsible (even if they aren't). People don't seem to get it. It cannot go on forever like this, and when the bubble pops the boom from that is going to make people suffer.

The term is 'preference cascade.' A certain threshold is reached, and fear/desire to be part of the 'in-group' stops being enough to keep people from either saying what they really think, or recognizing is really true.
Then the social pressure/in-group pressure starts going the other way, and all the pent up frustration starts to vent very quickly. A lot of people who had visibly been part of the old 'in-group' decide they need to very visibly prove they are part of the new in group, and that adds to the force of the snap-back.
This is how you set up the conditions that result in mobs attacking adult 'trans' people, and known 'trans-advocates.'
It'll be interesting, seeing if online interaction methods can have a positive effect, as they might let some of that frustration be vented in a place other than street-mobs. Probably not enough of a positive effect to counter-balance how much they've served as echo-chambers/rabble-rousing spaces.
And those of us who've been trying to argue for sanity will then start finding ourselves arguing with the sudden glut of over-zealous anti-intersectionalists about how no, you don't need to destroy all these people's lives, just prove they're wrong. And prosecute those who actively helped mutilate children.

A lot of normal LGBT people are desperately pointing out the craziness in hopes that the radicals could return to sanity and not smear us all by association, but it has had only moderate success. I think the LGB's will survive, but the backlash will be entirely focused on the T's, most of whom just want to fit in. You can see this with some anti-SJW commentators basically using Trans as a synonym for SJW. And that's jsut not true. Fortunately, Blaire White, Rose of Dawn, and others are pointing out that there are Trans people who aren't crazy. I just hope it's enough.
I honestly think gays and bisexuals will survive the backlash in the best shape.
Why? quite simply put the activists are openly turning on gay men, with several of the loonie toons people writing actual articals, denoucing them. Add to the fact that you have a bunch of gay men who openly served in the milatary and several gay conservatives like Milo who have been deplatformed well that means that gay men as a block can safely say fuck those guys when the time comes.
Bi sexuals have the advantage of being able to ghost and having that bullshit.
As for lesbians they will have a harder time but will make it. Trans people will have the worst time and my money? Its going to be the 'former' SJW activists who treat them the worst and commit the most hate crimes against them.

I don't think this will protect much from the backlash. The whole LGBT movement will be smeared by the activists, and the backlash won't have nuance.

As I said before, I don't think it'll be limited to LGBT, though they'll probably get the worst of it by far; anything that's had a significant regressive left presence is going to be impacted by the backlash against them. Even people with autism like me will be affected; in fact, we already are, as our disability is often used as an insult directed towards the regressive left. Don't even get me started on how the entertainment media you consume are going to be affected by this.
Of course; because those activists are merely taking advantage of the current zeitgeist to best indulge in their hatred for their fellow man, and stroke their ego. These are the exact same sorts of people that used to embrace blaming the Jews for all the world's problems, up until that was made decidedly unpopular after Hitler showed everyone the logical extreme one could take that idea to.

They don’t have to make being LGBT a huge part of their personalities, but nope, it gets them attention and likes

Totally agree with this. Everyone who is perceived as being aided by wokeness will get the backlash when the dam finally breaks.
Hilariously, many of the LGBT activists aren't even LGBT. They 'advocate' for us by shutting up intellectually diverse voices and getting internet points.
Honestly, as much as I vent online, in person it is important to show compassion and reveal another side to them.
The important thing is to convince people that there is at least one way that they don't go completely intersectional on. Then once they are convinced on that, that gap frequently leads the rest to crumble as well. This is because Intersectionality is a religion followed by 20-somethings, and is mostly followed because when in college, people just default to thinking it is good.
The way I do this is by adopting their framework of the world, and use it to open them to new ideas. I remember that I was at college and there was a round table on gun control and gun violence. Me and a friend (both pro gun) attended, and we totally changed the narrative, and made real headway with people that would have disagreed with us. He used being from Chicago and police violence to point out that you need guns to protect yourself because the police aren't going to help you. Meanwhile, I chimed in with my story about how I was afraid about being attacked for who I loved, and said that "I'm getting my concealed carry license as soon as possible, because I'm not gonna be a statistic." The people I was talking to already bought our premise, both emotionally and intellectually. So we used these premises to come to a different, pro-gun, conclusion. I know this worked, because one of the very activist people came up and said that she heard my story, and understood where I came from.
For a recent, public example, look at how Arielle Scarcella (a very liberal, lesbian OG youtuber) finally red-pilled: She saw what the LGBT activists were doing as misogynistic. This is a leftist critique of SJW, and those are very powerful in convincing people.

There was a 100% chance of lots of them losing their guns and later their businesses or suddenly losing their land and property for things that were supposed to “help them”
